```Job Summary```
We are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Designer to join our team. As a Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable. You will collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and then develop innovative design solutions to transform their outdoor spaces.
```Duties```
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for their outdoor space
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information
- Create detailed landscape plans, including hardscape elements, plantings, irrigation systems, and lighting
- Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Dynascape, Sketchup, Revit, and MicroStation to create 2D and 3D renderings of proposed designs
- Illustrate design concepts through hand sketches or digital drawings
- Select appropriate plant materials based on site conditions and client preferences
- Prepare cost estimates for materials and labor
- Collaborate with contractors and oversee the installation of landscape projects
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance recommendations for completed projects

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Dynascape, Sketchup, Revit, and MicroStation
- Strong knowledge of landscape design principles and techniques
- Ability to create detailed landscape plans that incorporate hardscape elements, plantings, irrigation systems, and lighting
- Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information System) software for site analysis and mapping
- Excellent hand sketching and illustration skills
- Strong understanding of plant materials and their suitability for different site conditions
- Experience with sales techniques to effectively communicate design concepts to clients
- Ability to collaborate with contractors and oversee the installation of landscape projects
- Familiarity with drafting standards and practices
